“Timing is Everything; Astrology is the Key” by Wes Alistair

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Wes Alistair is a pseudonym for Weslynn  McCallister. Under Wes Alistair, I write astrological poetry, articles and books on the subject.  I became interested in astrology  in my early twenties and studied under excellent teachers for many years. Currently, I do not have time to construct and read charts for the general public, but am still specializing in astrological research.

My astrologicial poems have been published in the American Federation of Astrologers bulletins, “Romancing the Zodiac” as well as on my website at http://www.weslynn.com

About the Book:

Have you ever planned that once in a lifetime event only to have it canceled due to weather, illness, or an accident? Wouldn’t you love to have a roadmap of your life; one that points the way to love, success, good health, and money?

Although astrology is not destiny, nor is it fate, with a thorough knowledge of astrology and correct delineation, you will be able to time events in your life more successfully avoiding many pitfalls and detours. For instance, if aspects indicate an illness ahead, you may be able to avoid this by a timely visit to your physician. Of, if an accident is indicated, you may be able to avoid this by simply taking your car in for service or by being more careful during that time. If you’re single and longing to meet Mr or Ms. Right, you will be able to determine just when you might meet him or her. Unless free will steps in, there will be no more meeting your soulmate on a bad hair day dressed in rags!

This book is available through the author, through the publisher, Trafford.com and Amazon.com

PROPHECIES of the ANCIENTS by Weslynn McCallister

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

“Prophecies of the Ancients” was originally written as a short story that was inspired by a dream which occurred to me on the equinox when I lived on a ranch in east Texas. The publisher that I sent it to loved it and suggested that I enlarge upon the story and create a novel which I did.

Following is a synopsis:

            “Prophecies of the Ancients”

             by Weslynn McCallister

A sci-fi romance, this novel is about Jennifer Harper who awakens star bound to cities beyond her wildest imagination. When she meets Prince Karo, it is love at first sight, but their romance is soon interrupted by Drona, the Sorcerer who vows to make Jenna his or destroy her.

When she is struck with a deadly virus, the Prince undertakes a mission to the Isle of Beasts to search for the antidote. Unaware of the ancient prophecy, Jenna and her rival, Elena, soon find themselves within the very heart of it. Inadvertently cast into the future by Elena, Drona joins Queen Michelle, a white magician, in an effort to defend the Red Moon from Vincent 11, the most evil sorcerer the galaxy has ever known.

When Drona’s archenemy, Prince Karo, arrives from a century past on an errant time machine, they gather strength as they combine their unique talents. only by their joint efforts and Drona’s brilliant inventions can they hope to prevent the prophesied war of 2112.

APACHE SPRINGS, an award winning romance novel by Weslynn McCallister

“Apache Springs” was the third novel that I wrote. Although it is fiction, it is based upon a true story.  I wrote it particularly for my mother-in-law who was dying of leukemia. I’m happy to say that she was able to read it before she died.

Synopsis

Apache Springs is a story of Annie McClaine, a youg girl who believes she has been betrayed by her family and abandoned by her new husband, Cort Shannon. With no other alternative that she will accept, Annie sets out on a perilous journey from New Mexico to southwestern Florida. As an unmarried woman with a young child, Annie struggles against the odds of reaching the success she yearns for. Once she has climbed to the peak of her career, she finds herself, once again, at the crossroads of her life. A dangerous choice awaits, one that may destroy both Annie and her daughter, Courtney.
